Service Department Technician
Title: Service Technician Type: Full Time Location: Las Vegas
Role and Responsibilities:
| | Maintain and repair all types of lighting and rigging equipment to professional standards.
|
| | Electrical and/or mechanical repair of moving lights, consoles and dimmers to meet company standards.
|
| | Troubleshooting and the replacement / repair of stepper motors, dimmer flags, power supplies, PCB's and chassis components.
|
| | Electrical and/or mechanical repair of conventional lighting fixtures. This will include troubleshooting, rewiring fixtures and replacing connectors, Varflex, sockets and chassis components.
|
| | Electrical and/or mechanical repair of chair motors and chain falls. This includes replacing worn breaking components, wiring, contactors, transformers and chassis components.
|
| | Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
|
| | Interacting with other local departments and the Operations and Shop Managers regarding priorities and the scheduling of repairs and maintenance.
|
Qualifications and Skills:
| | Basic troubleshooting skills in electronics and electro-mechanical systems
|
| | Basic solder skills – wire and through hole component only
|
| | Ability to follow step-by-step maintenance documents for modification and upgrading equipment to company standards
|
| | Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
|
| | Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
|
| | Superior customer service orientation
|
| | Highly self-motivated and directed
|
