| Jose Mena - Analyst
Jose was born in Nicaragua, the country of lakes and volcanoes. Civil war at his home country interrupted his studies at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Nicaragua in his beloved Leon.
After a tenure of 7 years at Banco Nicaraguense where he started working as an accounting clerk and ended as Chief of the Foreign Section, with the war in full motion he moved to San Jose, Costa Rica working as a Chief Accountant for a wholesale oil and gas company based in San Jose.
After falling in love with the Sandinist revolution, he went back to Nicaragua to work at the Banco Central de Nicaragua for two years as Director of the Imports Division. With the revolution changing winds Jose packed again and returned to Costa Rica where he met the love of his life, Margarita.
Jose moved to Orlando, Florida in 1991. Like all the immigrants who come to this country, he worked in a variety of jobs until he landed an opportunity to work at Christie Lites in 2000.
In his spare time he enjoys reading, loves to play and watch baseball and is also waiting for the day his beloved New York Yankees get to the World Series again.
